GP PRGs

We work with a range of health and care services in addition to working closely with the local authority, Barnsley MBC, and community and patient organisations such as HealthWatch Barnsley.

There are 33 GP practices across Barnsley, all who make up the clinical commissioning group.

Providers of local health services in Barnsley include South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We are also partners in a wide range of networks and boards across the borough and region.

We are members of:

Alongside all of these services and organisations we work alongside Barnsley patients and residents. Whether it's in our day to day work in GP practices or through more formal ways, involvement in the planning, development and consideration of services and decisions is central to the way health and care services are commissioned in Barnsley.

360 Stakeholder Survey

Clinical commissioning groups need to have strong relationships with a range of health and care partners in order to be successful commissioners within the local system. The CCG 360 stakeholder survey is a key part of ensuring these strong relationships are in place.

As part of the CCG annual assurance process, NHS England commissioned IPSOS Mori to co-ordinate the survey. This survey allows stakeholders to provide feedback on our working relationships. Stakeholders surveyed included GP member practices, the Health and Wellbeing Board, Healthwatch Barnsley, Barnsley Council and other NHS organisations.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the survey. To view the results, please download the report 360 Stakeholder Survey Report 2017.
