NHS Long Term Plan

The NHS is changing and it needs your help.

Health and care organisations in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw want to know how people across the region think they could better support the health and wellbeing of the people of Barnsley, Bassetlaw, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield, and are asking people to share their views via an online Healthwatch survey and at a number of events over the coming months.

These local conversations follow the publication of the NHS Long Term Plan, which advises on how health and care services nationally will develop over the coming years to improve people’s health and wellbeing. The partnership will use the findings of the conversation to help develop a South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw five year plan.

To ensure that it reflects local needs and to make sure that you, your family and your community get care where and when you need it, it’s important that we hear your thoughts. Let us know about your recent experience of health and social care services. No matter how big or small the issue, we want to hear about it.
