Deadline extended for feedback on Barnsley’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning Strategy

Deadline extended for feedback on Barnsley’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning Strategy
28 October 2015

The deadline for having your say on mental health services and support for Barnsley has been extended.

The mental health and wellbeing strategy will cover the next five years and the final draft version is now available for people to comment on.

This strategy is being developed to reflect recent mental health policy guidance and to complement the work currently being undertaken to transform mental health services in Barnsley.

The CCG would welcome comments on this and would particularly like to know if there is anything that has been missed, or should be amended within the draft strategy.

Following feedback from service users, carers and local partners, the deadline for responses for this phase of engagement has now been extended to 5pm on Friday 13th November 2015. All of the comments received will help to influence the final strategy.

The draft strategy including how to feedback can be accessed via the following link to our website which also highlights the British Sign Language (BSL) film version of the draft strategy that has been created to support our engagement - http://www.barnsleyccg.nhs.uk/get-involved/mental-health-and-wellbeing-strategy.htm

If you would like a hard copy of the draft strategy, please email barnccg.comms@nhs.net or call us on 01226 433721.
