NHS Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group, the organisation responsible for planning and buying local health services, will present our Annual Report and Accounts at our second Annual General Meeting in June.

This Annual Report highlights the journey of Barnsley’s CCG’s commissioning work in its second year of operation, and shows how doctors and healthcare professionals, alongside patients, carers, the public, providers, the local authority, community organisations and neighbouring commissioners have contributed to the progress made in commissioning health services for the residents of Barnsley.

Dr Nick Balac, local GP and Chair at NHS Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said: “We know that local people are passionate about their healthcare so we would encourage as many people as possible to attend our first AGM.

“Your healthcare is as important to us as it is to you, so we would like you to take the opportunity to engage with us on future plans and join us in our reflections of the past year.”

The Annual General Meeting will be held at The Digital Media Centre, County Way Barnsley 25 June 2015..

The event will start at 2pm and will finish with afternoon tea by 4pm with the opportunity to meet all the Governing Body members. The afternoon will cover the journey of the CCG so far; how the CCG has invested in health in Barnsley over the past twelve months; and will also look to plans for 2016.
