NHS Barnsley CCG has awarded the contract for GP services at Lundwood and Highgate GP surgeries to Barnsley Healthcare Federation.

From 1 April 2016, the Lundwood Surgery, which is based in Priory Campus and the Highgate Surgery based in Shafton, will be contracted to the Barnsley Healthcare Federation.

The contract was awarded by NHS Barnsley CCG, who took over the role and responsibilities of commissioning GP services from NHS England in April 2015. NHS England carried out a patient consultation in early 2015 as part of the procurement process.
