NHS Health Check

What are NHS Health Checks?

The NHS Health Check programme is for adults in England between the age of 40 and 74, who haven’t already been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, or have certain risk factors such as high blood pressure.

Barnsley Council has commissioned Hallcross Medical Services to provide the free health checks to Barnsley residents. If you meet the criteria above and you haven't had a health check in the past five years, then Hallcross will invite you to an appointment at a time to suit you. You can also contact them directly to arrange an appointment.

To make an appointment today, call (01302) 315007 or 07525 241941.

You can find out more on the NHS Health Checks Programme website.
