  • Pregnancy: Your experience, your voice, your views South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation were commissioned by the Integrated Care System for South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw, to conduct a study which would look at the experience of birth of women based in the local area.   • Survey to capture Carers experience of Yorkshire Ambulance Service The survey is to capture the views of carers across Yorkshire and Humber who have used the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, whether that is calling 111 or 999 or using Patient Transport Services.  The survey is open now and closes on 31st March 2022. It will contribute to some wider pieces of positive work focusing on improving the experience of carers and contingency planning. If anyone needs additional support to complete the survey, paper copies can be provided, or complete via telephone if needed. Maternity services - the Barnsley Maternity Voices Partnership have their own Facebook and Twitter page

Mental and emotional wellbeing OASIS (Opening up awareness and support and influencing services) is a Chilypep group based in Barnsley that aims to empower young people to shape mental health services.

Barnsley Deaf Community meet every two weeks at Honeywell Community Centre. Barnsley Deaf Community aims to:

  • Make sure deaf people’s views and needs are met by services in Barnsley.
  • Support deaf people and providers to work together more effectively.

To do this, they invite the people who provide services to work in partnership to develop services for deaf people.
