Have your say on GP and Nurse appointment proposals

Barnsley GPs are inviting local people to feedback on proposals for new ways of offering GP and Nurse appointments.

The proposals include offering more face to face appointments in the evening until 10pm and at weekends, as well as exploring things like email, telephone and video consultations.

The proposal could see the bookable evening and weekend appointments being run from two existing surgery buildings across the borough but open to anyone.

The CCG is also holding three drop in sessions across the borough where there will be an opportunity to talk to one of the team.

• St John’s Community Centre, Penistone, Monday 1^st June, Drop in anytime from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
• The Core, County Way Barnsley, Wednesday 3^rd June, Drop in anytime from 3pm - 4.30pm
• New Options Community Fitness Centre, St. Lukes Road, Grimethorpe, Thursday 11^th June, Drop in anytime from 6.30pm – 8pm
