A range of GP and Pharmacy services will be available across the borough for Barnsley residents this Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August 2021.

Same day GP appointments can be made through the iHEART Barnsley service, whilst several pharmacies throughout the town will be open limited hours.

• GP services will be available via the i-HEART Barnsley service, with phone lines open on Monday from 08:00 - 09:30 for same day appointments between 09:00 - 14:00. Please call 01226 242419.

• Outside of these hours, please call 111.

Community pharmacy services 

Pharmacists are highly qualified health experts who can give you detailed advice on your medicine and provide treatment for common health problems. 

As well as dispensing prescriptions, pharmacists provide a wide range of services and can advise on minor ailments such as colds, sprains, skin conditions, stomach upsets and allergies.
