Freedom of Information

  • If you have a freedom of information enquiry for us, NHS Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group please email us at
  • If you have a freedom of information enquiry to make about the local primary care services you receive – these are the services provided by GPs, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists – you need to contact NHS England.
    • NHS England has set up a national Customer Contact Centre (CCC) to act as the first point of call for complaints, general enquiries and Freedom of Information requests about primary care, offender and military health services.

Media Centre

Our communications team is the first port of call for all media enquiries.

We will respond to your enquiry directly, or arrange interviews with key members of the CCG staff.

Our media policy is to be:

  • open, honest, transparent and proactive
  • helpful to the media in facilitating photographic opportunities, interviews and other reasonable requests

Our team will:

  • respond as quickly and effectively as possible to your enquiry
